MODEL OF MULTIPLE ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS ORIENTED ON SALES PREDICTION AND PRODUCT SHELF DESIGN

MODEL OF MULTIPLE ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORKS ORIENTED ON SALES PREDICTION AND PRODUCT SHELF DESIGN Alessandro Massaro, Valeria Vitti, Angelo Galiano Dyrecta Lab, Italy ABSTRACT In this paper the authors proposed different Multilayer Perceptron Models (MLP) of artificial neural networks (ANN) suitable for visual merchandising in Global Distribution (GDO) applications involving supermarket product facing. The models are related to the prediction of different attributes concerning mainly shelf product allocation applying times series forecasting approach. The study highlights the range validity of the sales prediction by analysing different products allocated on a testing shelf. The paper shows the correct procedures able to analyse most guaranteed results, by describing how test and train datasets can be processed. The prediction results are useful in order to design monthly a planogram by taking into account the shelf allocations, the general sales trend, and the promotion ...

Image Generation from Caption

Image Generation from Caption Mahima Pandya and Sonal Rami Charotar University of Science and Technology, India ABSTRACT Generating images from a text description is as challenging as it is interesting. The Adversarial network performsinacompetitive fashion where the networks aretherivalry of each other. With the introduction ofGenerative Adversarial Network, lots of development is happening in the field of Computer Vision. Withgenerative adversarial networks as the baseline model, studied Stack GAN consisting oftwo-stageGANSstep-by- step in this paper that could be easily understood. This paper presents visual comparative study ofother models attempting to generate image conditioned on the text description. One sentencecan be relatedto many images. And to achieve this multi-modal characteristic, conditioning augmentation is also performed. The performance of Stack- GAN is better in generating images from captions due to its unique architecture. As it consists of two GANS inste...

Secured Framework for Pervasive Healthcare Monitoring Systems

Secured Framework for Pervasive Healthcare Monitoring Systems N Rukma Rekha1 and M.S.PrasadBabu2 1University of Hyderabad, India 2Andhra University, India ABSTRACT Pervasive Healthcare Monitoring System (PHMS)’ is one of the important pervasive computingapplications aimed at providing healthcare servicesto all the people through mobile communicationdevices. Pervasive computing devices are resourceconstrained devices such as battery power, memory, processing power and bandwidth. In pervasive environment data privacy is a key issue. In thisapplication a secured frame work is developed for receiving the patient’s medical data periodically, updates automatically in Patient Record Database and generates a Checkup Reminder. In the presentwork a light weight asymmetric algorithm proposed by the authors [26] is used for encrypting the datatoensure data confidentiality for its users. Challenge response onetime password mechanism is applied forauthentication process KEYWORDS Pervasive compu...

Active Controller Design for the Hybrid Synchronization of Hyperchaotic Zheng and Hyperchaotic Yu Systems

Active Controller Design for the Hybrid Synchronization of Hyperchaotic Zheng and Hyperchaotic Yu Systems Sundarapandian Vaidyanathan Vel Tech Dr.RR & Dr.SR Technical University, India ABSTRACT This paper deals with a new research problem in the chaos literature, viz. hybrid synchronization of a pair of chaotic systems called the master and slave systems. In the hybrid synchronization design of master and slave systems, one part of the systems, viz. their odd states, are completely synchronized (CS), while the other part, viz. their even states, are completely anti-synchronized (AS) so that CS and AS coexist in the process of synchronization. This research work deals with the hybrid synchronization of hyperchaotic Zheng systems (2010) and hyperchaotic Yu systems (2012). The main results of this hybrid synchronization research work have been proved using Lyapunov stability theory. Numerical examples of the hybrid synchronization results are shown along with MATLAB simulations fo...
